If you have a passion for fishkeeping and want to gain more exposure for yourself or your site, please consider submitting your article to us.
On average, 80% of our traffic comes from search and the other 20% comes from social media. We are coming up on our 2-year mark and are seeing traffic increases of 15-20% each month.
What we are looking for
Any article on freshwater or brackish fishkeeping. This includes guides, equipment, fish profiles, inverts, and plants. Write about what you’re informed on.
Requirements
Well thought out articles with a minimum of 1,000 words.
Articles must be written by you and not spun or plagiarized. (We check)
Articles must be never-before-published. If chosen to be included at petfishplace.com, it must never be republished elsewhere.
Write your article with the reader in mind; don’t worry about impressing the search engines.
Don’t include any pictures with your submission unless you are the photographer or can prove that you have the rights.
Submission
When your article is complete, simply email it to info@petfishplace.com.
We will get back to you within 5 working days with an answer.
Upon approval you’ll be invited to submit an author bio with a link to a social media profile of your choosing.
You’ll also be permitted to include 1 link within the body of the article to your own website, providing you link to a relevant article or post.
The editor retains the right to make small edits to your article, such as adding in links, fixing spelling errors, fixing grammar, or updating idioms for our mostly American audience.
