Although the store name specifies “reef” they do also carry a decent selection of freshwater fish. Of course if saltwater is your thing then you’d obviously be goo here as well.
They also carry freshwater plants as well as corals and marine inverts.

If you’re looking for a great selection of saltwater fish, corals, and inverts, then check this place out. They do also carry some freshwater fish but the selection is limited.
Reef Life Aquariums have a 4.5 out of 5 star review.
The only real negative I can find at this location is a couple of customer complaints over their maintenance program. But even they agree that the in-store selection is great.

This place is a decent all-around pet store carrying a wide array of products. When it comes to fish livestock, you may feel disappointed though. They don’t always have a good stock level but you may get lucky.
Ed’s Pet World has a 3.8 out of 5 star review.
Reviews seem to be pretty split with this place, ranging from raving reviews to very poor reviews. The biggest complaint I’ve seen is the conditions the animals are kept in.

If you’re looking for saltwater fish and equipment, this is the best place in the Mobile area. They also have a good selection of corals and inverts. It’s more of a service business though than a pet store. They also offer a great set-up and maintenance program.
Progressive Marine LLC has a 4.1 out of 5 star review.
People seem to love this place, at least those that catch them when they are available. The only complaints are from those that didn’t know to make an appointment.

In business since 1981, this place has an awesome selection of both freshwater and saltwater fish. B & B Pet Shop is huge, boasting over 14,000 square feet of retail space. You should not have any issues finding what you’re looking for here.

This isn’t where you’d go to find tropical fish for your home aquarium. If, however, you’re looking to stock your pond then this is the place. They provide stock to feed stores and co-ops across the state.

They have been in business for coming up on 50 years at this location. Although the name implies an aquatic only store, they do cater to all animals. With that said, they have a decent fish selection.

I couldn’t find much info on this place due to a lack of a website. They are, however, an aquatic only store, which is great. They seem to have a great selection of both freshwater and saltwater fish, and they also offer coral.

They aren’t quite your typical “big box store”, servicing only northern Alabama. However their fish selection isn’t as good as a fish only store. They do, however, have 30 or so small tanks to look through.
